NAMIBIAN RESTAURANT CHARCOAL
Our charcoal is produced from renewable sources that grow in ever-increasing numbers in the grasslands of Namibia.
These sources are invasive species of acacia bush which encroach upon the valuable grasslands. Namibia is fighting a very large-scale battle against invasive species that ultimately accelerate the effects of drought upon the land by consuming precious water from the scarce rainfalls.
By making clever use of these invasive species, cattle numbers increase, staving off hunger in an impoverished land. Converting these acacias into charcoal saves valuable trees and affords an income among the indigenous peoples of the land.
Not only is our charcoal of supreme quality due to its high-density wood species, but it is also competitively priced against local and European suppliers.
